Entries for the British and Irish Cheese Awards 2027 will open in January.
The British and Irish Cheese Awards returned to the calendar in 2024, featuring at the heart of the Bath and West’s Food and Drink Festival.
Following the success of this event, we are excited to return again for 2027 with the British & Irish Cheese Awards taking place on Thursday 1st April and the Food & Drink Festival on Saturday 3rd April, for more cheese judging, trade stand browsing, and exciting demonstrations on the Farmhouse Kitchen stage.
Judging of the British and Irish Cheese Awards will take place on the first day (1st April), with the Food and Drink Festival opening to the public for the second and third days (3rd April). Exhibits in the British and Irish Cheese Awards will be staged for the public to view throughout, surrounded by trade stands offering cheese tasting and sales.

Did you know we hold an award dinner for the British & Irish Cheese Awards dinner in the evening of the awards judging?
The British & Irish Cheese Awards Dinner, taking place Thursday 1st April, is an entertaining & fun evening, giving you the opportunity to enjoy some great company whilst awaiting the announcement of the award winners, including the eagerly anticipated Supreme Champion!
With so many industry professionals in attendance, the British & Irish Cheese Awards Dinner is a great place to network with suppliers, cheesemakers, retailers, sponsors and more. The meal will feature a wonderful selection of local produce from our Sponsors. You will be presented with a starter, main course and cheeseboard which consists of products from the previous British & Irish Cheese Award winners.
